Tugumisirize Winfred

Tugumisirize Winfred holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration of Kyambogo University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration of Nkumba University. Winfred is currently pursuing her PhD studies in Business Administration of Kabale University. As a treasurer general of Sisters of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Winfred is both diligent and committed to her finance practice and profession. Winfred joined the treasury of Sisters of Our Lady of good Counsel in 2017 after serving as a member of the Institute for 25 years and being on finance committee of the institute for 15 years. Winfred promotes good financial practices with emphasis on transparency and accountability in all transactions. Winfred taught in Kyambogo University as assistant lecturer alongside OLGC treasury from 2017 to 2021. In Kyambogo University, she handled accounting related course units as well handling financial matters in OLGC treasury. She also worked as accounts assistant for Martyrs University Kabale Campus from 2013 to 2016. Aside from being accountant and teacher, she worked with the youth, as youth animator in different parts of Uganda while coordinating various youth programmes from 2001 to 2008. Winfred is a God fearing Nun (sister) and a Catholic by Religion. She is conscientious and self-motivated individual with great enthusiasm and determination to succeed, hardworking, resourceful, trustworthy and reliable with excellent accounting skills, communication and the ability to adapt to new situations.
