Kyakunzire Annet Mitchel holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration of Makerere University and a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies in Mbarara University of Science and Technology. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration at Kabale University. Annet is a qualified Professional Business Management Specialist with 12 years of progressive experience in University teaching, competent in competitive strategy, business development, project planning and management, entrepreneurial startups and innovations, project valuation and analysis, financial literacy, leadership training and strategic management. Because of her outstanding performance at the University where she works, she served in the capacity of Lecturer, head of department and currently Faculty Dean of Humanities and Management of Ankole Western University. Annet has hands on skills in; Curriculum development and design, quality assurance, academic programs assessment at the level of National Council Higher Education (NCHE). She is also a Strategy and Business Development consultant at FAM Solutions Ltd. Prior joining University Teaching, Annet worked in the NGO environment where she acquired has hands on experience in Business policy analysis, writing proposal and resource mobilization, advocacy, lobbying, networking and partnership building in project work, use of participatory methods, Rights Based Management of projects and promotion, media interactions as well as current donor trends in funding for development work.
