Overview

Henry Stanley Mbowa holds Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Management from Makerere University (2008 & 2014) respectively, and Master in Environmental Science from Kampala University (2021). He was also awarded a Certificate in Philosophy of Science, Research Methodology and Ethics from Oslo and Akershus University College, Norway (2018). He is currently pursuing a PhD Business Administration at Kabale University. Further, he is a Part-time lecturer, and researcher at Kampala University with 9 years of experience. With his writing abilities, he has published over 10 papers in peer-reviewed journals, coauthored a chapter in a book, and two-community handbooks. He is gifted in teaching, mentorship, assessment, and supervision; research and community development since 2012. Mbowa has worked with a number of agencies like Climate Change Institute Uganda under which he has been able to extend and share his practical competencies in climate change resilience and energy efficient, nursery bed management, and soil-water conservation, which he has extended (continues) to various communities for sustainable livelihoods, food security and well-being. Finally, he is a result oriented, dynamic, visionary, and proactive person with a good sense of judgment, integrity and ethical standards including hard working and time management. “Success of a man depends on his integrity, trustworthiness and hard work”.  Based on his vision, he continues to build his capacity in research, writing skills and publication. He also mentors younger researchers and academicians in various fields of study to uphold the role of an academician in the Global Arena.
